Digital Services Refund Policy
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing Kliken! Please read this policy carefully as it determines your rights with regard to the refund of any digital services purchased from our platform.
Please note that this Refund Policy is only applicable to fees that are charged by Kliken, to you, the customer. In some instances, the billing of fees relating to the operation of Ad Campaigns may be completed in whole, or part, by your E-Commerce Platform Partner, and in these instances, you will need to complete the refund request process as set forth by the respective platforms.
2. General Conditions
- Digital services refer to any non-tangible product, software, subscription, or service provided by Kliken.
- Due to the nature of the digital services provided, they cannot be returned. As a result, not all fees associated with our services are refundable.
- Kliken will, from time to time, run promotions that will provide specific campaigns with promotional credits. These credits are directly tied to the campaign and cannot be transferred or refunded. Please refer to our cancellation policy for further information surrounding this.
- Refunds must be requested, and will only be processed, within six (6) months' of the original charge. Refunds requested after this date will not be considered.
- Failure to follow the Refund Request process may result in a delay in processing of your refund.
3. Credit Options for Advertising Spend
- Transfer to Active Campaign: Should you have other active campaigns with us, on the same account, you have the option to transfer the unused advertising spend to another active campaign.
- Refund of Unused Advertising Spend: You may request the value of the unused advertising spend be refunded to you. This refund can only be processed directly to the card on which the original purchase took place.
4. Refundable Fees
- Unused marketing spend: Any marketing spend that has not yet been deployed at the date of cancellation, or suspension, of the subscription.
5. Non-refundable Fees
- Automation Fee: This fee covers the setup, active maintenance, and system connectivity of your service(s) and is non-refundable.
- Processing Fees: This fee covers the cost of payment and administrative processing and is incurred immediately upon the purchase of a campaign. As such, it is non-refundable.
- Deployed Marketing Spend: Any marketing spend deployed on an advertising platform will not be eligible for refund, as the service has been provided and the campaign funds have been deployed on the respective platform(s).
- Promotional Ad Credits: Any advertising budget credit given by Kliken, to you, with a promotional campaign is non-refundable.
6. Refund Process
- To request a refund, please complete the Refund Request Form located here.
- Please include your Master Account ID, the Invoice / Receipt ID, Campaign Name, purchase details, and a detailed reason for your request. If you are requesting multiple refunds, each refund is required to be submitted individually in order to ensure the most efficient and accurate processing of any accepted refund.
- Within 24 hours of the receipt of your request, your campaign will be canceled to prevent further billing.
- Refunds will take at least 10 working days to be reviewed, and if eligible, processed. If approved, the refund will be credited back to the original payment method. Once processed, the funds may take an additional 5-15 business days to be returned to your financial institution.
- Please note, that if you file a dispute with Kliken regarding any invoice or associated fees, the ability to process a refund will be paused due to payment processing restrictions to prevent the potential for the duplication of any refund. Please note, that once a dispute is created it can take a minimum of 35 days to be resolved.
7. Exceptions
You may be ineligible for any refund if:
- It is determined that you have intentionally provided false information or misrepresented your intentions or activities related to the use of our Product/Service. Misrepresentation includes but is not limited to providing inaccurate campaign details, false performance metrics, or misleading information during the setup or usage of our services.
- If you fail to comply with our Terms of Service, which outline the appropriate use of our Product/Service. Breaches may include unauthorized usage, attempting to exploit vulnerabilities, engaging in fraudulent activities, abuse of Company employees or any other activity that violates the terms set forth in our agreement.
- If you violate the policies and/or guidelines for specific advertising platforms for which you have purchased services. Any violation of these platform policies may result in the suspension or termination of your account with the platform, and such violations may also render you ineligible for a refund. Please remember that it is your responsibility to review and comply with the advertising platform's policies.
In general:
- Kliken reserves the right to apply a refund administration fee, equal to an amount of 10% of the original invoice value.
- Any exceptions to this refund policy will be handled on a case-by-case basis and at the sole discretion of Kliken.
8. Changes to Refund Policy
Kliken reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. If we decide to change our refund policy, we will post those changes on this page and notify you through your selected messaging avenues.
